2024: The Year We Plugged In, Powered Up, and Grew Like Crazy ⚡

If 2023 was the year we built the foundation, then 2024 was the year we supercharged it.
From new partnerships to community projects, Forefront IT has been everywhere — on rooftops, in comms rooms, under desks, up ladders, through crawl spaces, and yes, sometimes in the wrong cabinet (we’re honest like that).
We’ve faced dodgy power sockets, mystery reboots, and heroic cable runs to keep businesses online and running faster than ever.
Growth Mode: Activated 📈
This year we clocked a huge 120% business growth, doubling our projects, client base, and caffeine intake (no regrets).
To keep up with our expanding operations, we opened our new office at Owston Hall Hotel — a spot that perfectly blends countryside calm with the chaos of IT support. It’s now home to our daily mix of big ideas, bigger projects, and a suspicious number of network cables.
We also launched a brand-new website, rebuilt from the ground up to be faster, smarter, and easier to navigate — because if we can optimise your systems, we should probably optimise ours too.
Welcoming SPPF to the Forefront Family 🏢
One of our proudest milestones this year was officially partnering with SPPF, supporting their growing property portfolio across Doncaster, Barnsley, Retford Gainsborough, Huddersfield and Sunderland.
We’ve delivered full-scale Wi-Fi and CCTV upgrades, tidy new comms cabinets, and infrastructure that just works — no buffering, no black screens, no drama.
Connecting the UK with Daisy Communications 🌍
We also formed a brand-new partnership with Daisy Communications, one of the UK’s leading connectivity providers.
Together, we’re helping businesses nationwide access ultra-fast, reliable internet solutions — keeping companies online, productive, and a little less reliant on hotspotting from their mobiles. It’s another step toward our mission of connecting the UK, one router at a time.
Community First, Always 💙
We’re proud to continue providing all IT and web services completely free of charge to the Jackson Hope Foundation, supporting their incredible mental health work across Doncaster and beyond.
We also began working with Askern Town Council, modernising systems and improving local digital infrastructure — because even the smallest connections make a big difference in the community.
Fresh Partnerships & Behind-the-Scenes Upgrades 🤝
Beyond the big names, we’ve been growing through collaboration — teaming up with Cookeibot, a brilliant partner helping us refine internal workflows (and occasionally our snack game 🍪).
We’ve also made serious behind-the-scenes investments: upgraded tools, smarter monitoring, and faster diagnostics — meaning quicker fixes and even happier clients.
Looking Ahead to 2025/26 🚀
With record growth, new offices, stronger partnerships, and a community-first ethos, we’re heading into 2025/26 with serious momentum.
New services, next-gen connectivity, and some exciting (and top-secret) projects are already in the works — so stay tuned.
